MP Todd Doherty

Todd Doherty has served as the Member of Parliament for Cariboo–Prince George since first being elected in 2015. Throughout his time in Parliament, he has been a strong advocate for Northern British Columbia, focusing on issues including mental health, public safety, economic development, and support for resource-based communities.

One of his most notable accomplishments was leading the effort to establish Canada's national 988 suicide crisis hotline, helping create a simple and accessible resource for Canadians in need of mental health support.

Prior to entering federal politics, Todd represented Canada internationally through trade missions, industry conferences, and regulatory panels, bringing extensive experience in business and community leadership to his role as MP.
