In celebration of Chamber Week, we are putting on a three part workshop to help you with your marketing & networking issues. Can't attend all three sessions yourself? Networking 101 - Conquering Your Fear

It?s proven that networking is the key to business success. So what prevents so many entrepreneurs from actively engaging with their target market? In this 1-hour session, you will learn what feeds our basic networking fears and gain some valuable tools that will help you become comfortable marketing yourself and your business.

During this 1-hour workshop, you will learn how to create brand awareness through highly targeted marketing campaigns.  You will leave with a set of specific processes that will make your marketing dollars work harder for you by connecting you directly to your niche market.

Join our guest facilitator, Christine Kinnie, from Community Futures. With a background in Communication, Christine has experience with marketing for Community Futures as well as coaching clients to develop their own marketing strategies.






 

Marketing 101 - Develop Your Social Media Plan in 5 Steps

Do you have social media accounts for your business but are unsure how to make the best use of them? Attendees of this workshop will come away with a clear vision of how to use social media to advance their particular business and will create an on-site action plan to put their vision into action. Learn the tricks to engage clients online and convert their interest into sales. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring laptops. 
 

Amanda Ramsay

Amanda Ramsay returned to Prince George in 2014 after spending close to a decade travelling and gaining national industry insights.  Previous work includes communications management for two fortune 500 companies, rebranding of government agencies, grant writing for non-profits with million-dollar budgets and publishing the hiring manual for a prestigious mining projects contractor. With 6+ years in traditional advertising & marketing experience and 10+ years in creating content, she now operates Poplar Ideas, her second business. She consults and assists small to medium Prince George businesses enhance their marketing plans, advertising strategies and client-bound communications whether in print or online.
