The Visualization of Cultural Data

Travis White will lead discussion about the visualization of cultural data and how novel insights can be gleaned about a particular time, place, or aspect of society by a computational look at the relationships between the people, places, and events involved. Travis' talk will be based on an ongoing research study by Ryerson University and the UBCO Humanist Data Lab at UBCO.  Coffee, treats and networking included!
